PasteItAll does not automatically record clipboard history. It reads relevant content when you explicitly save, import, or invoke a Service. Data stays on the Mac by default; Pro private iCloud sync is opt-in.
Deliberate access, local first
Copying alone does not create a PasteItAll record. The app processes submitted content after a save click, save shortcut, file import, or relevant Service request.

- Metadata and managed file copies remain on your Mac by default.

Where can content go?
On the Mac
Saved text, links, tags, and project information enter the local library. Images and files you explicitly import are stored as managed local copies.
Optional private iCloud
When a Pro user enables sync, structured data uses Apple’s private CloudKit database and files use iCloud Documents. The data belongs to the user’s iCloud container, and local use remains available when sync is off.
PasteItAll has no operator server for storing user body content and no remote account system.
Spotlight and Services
Spotlight App Entity indexing makes deliberately saved items searchable through macOS. Visibility is controlled per item, and the app updates the corresponding index when it changes.
“Insert from PasteItAll…” returns content through native macOS Services. The host app decides placement and supported types. PasteItAll does not use Accessibility or synthesized keyboard input to force insertion.
Diagnostics exclude content
Diagnostics are designed to exclude body text, URL query parameters, file contents, filenames, tags, and image data. Read the formal policy for the complete legal description.
